About Us
The Armenian Presbyterian
Church (APC) is a dynamic, multi-dimensional,
and diverse church community with a vibrant and
active congregation. This is evident by the
various organizational affiliations and mission
projects that APC maintains.
As an Armenian Evangelical Church, APC is among
the 23 churches comprising of the Armenian
Evangelical Union of North America (AEUNA).
Moreover, the APC community has always
maintained an active role in the mission work of
the Armenian Missionary Association of America (AMAA),
which has shared the building facilities with
APC in Paramus, NJ since its construction in
1971. As an Armenian church, APC maintains ties
to the Armenian Orthodox churches, as well as to
the Armenian Catholic and Armenian Brotherhood
churches. Finally, as an Armenian Church in the
New York / New Jersey area, APC’s youth and men
have participated for years with the Armenian
Church’s Sports Association (ASCA) various
programs.
As a Presbyterian Church, APC
is a member of the Presbyterian Church USA.
Being one of the only two Armenian Evangelical
churches to be affiliated with the denomination,
APC has maintained a strong relationship with
the local Presbytery of the Palisades since
being assisted by the Presbytery in its founding
in West Hoboken in 1898. |
